About us

Our massage and acupuncture clinic, located on Nakadori Street in Ofuna, opened in November 2009. I’m Makoto Kawaguchi, the therapist of this clinic. Previously, I worked for a major hotel in Tokyo for a long time and while I worked at the hotel, I suffered from back pain as well as a stiff neck and shoulders. I decided to become a therapist to help people suffering from these conditions. After graduating from Kanagawa Oriental Medical College, I received national licenses for massage, acupuncture, and moxibustion. Up until October 2009, I helped patients who needed treatment but were not able to get to a hospital. At present, Japanese people come to the clinic, but I am also keen to welcome people who can’t speak Japanese as I have some ability in English.
